Introduction

World happiness report is a publication of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network. It contains ratings based on different factors that may affect the overall happiness perceived by the people of nations around the world. These variables(factors) include the following:

World happiness report published this report in 2022, which marks its 10th anniversary.

Objective

To make an interactive dashboard that displays the scores of individual variables involved in the evaluation of overall happiness score & plot relationship between different variables with the overall happiness scores.

Data

The data that is used for this project will be download from this page. I am using the Data for Figure 2.1 in the report file.

Methodologies

I will be using Spreadsheet software Microsoft Excel for exploration & tableau for data visualization.

Data Exploration

The dataset contains 147 rows and 12 columns representing countries sorted by ranks according to the happiness scores & different features used to evaluate overall happiness score.

  1. Healthy life expectancy, Social Support & GDP per Capita seems to have a positive relationship with the overall happiness score.
  1. Generosity seems to have least effect on happiness score.
